does this rim fit the criteria to be mounted onto my 1997 2WD F150? I'm a 5 lug so i dont see why it wouldn't work? Just want to make sure before i bid on them at ebay!

Yes, they will work. All 97-03 F-150's used the 5x135mm lug pattern.
