Exclamation Tire opinions, please...

A couple weeks ago, I picked up an 02 SCrew 4x4. It came with a 3" body lift and ProComp 305/70R16's on AR wheels. I am pretty happy with the overall height, but since the tires are nearing replacement, I am planning on going back to BFG All-Terrains. I had them on my Cherokee a while back and loved them. I'm posting this to see what you guys think about sizes. I think the BFG's side lugs look a little more aggressive and I'm going with white letters out too, so should I stick with the 33" tires or try to go up to 35's (315/75)? Here's what it looks like now:

Thanks for your input.

Thats a good lookin truck,
Definetly go with the 35's to fill up for wheel wells more, be prepared to lose a little bit of power though, you might want to consider purchasing a superchip tuner to make up for the speedometer and loss of power, just my 2cents. Hope this helps good luck with your truck

I believe the BFG's are a lot better tire than the Pro Comps. 33's or 35's would look good. Like F150flare said, be prepared for a noticable loss of power if you go with 35's. I would stick with 33's if you have the 4.6 or are going to change gears. Some people with 35's, the 5.4 and 3.55 gears are happy with their performance, others hate it.

I thought my 17" Lariat rims with Goodyear Eagle II
P275/60R17 made my ole Work Truck look
fair to partly cloudy, but looking at your truck, I know
I've got alot to do.

I haven't owned it a month yet and I'm still looking
for a place to find 2000 parts.

Very nice truck ! You should be proud and thankful .

Thanks everyone for the input and the compliments! This truck has the 5.4, but I am not ready to go up with the gears or install a chip so I'll probably stay with the 33's. Besides, my favorite car wash already looks at me funny until I assure them that "it fit the last time". I'll post some new pics after I get them.

BusterBoy: doing a Google search for "f150 accessories" turned up a bunch of web sites with parts for sale. From looking at this forum, I'm sure other members have some favorite places to look too.

Thanks again.
