Question Which Tire to go with?

Ok I ve decided on my rim end up being a 18x9, bout time eh wandell and i m really tore between 3 tires...

I went to the Mud Drags last night with my stock BF Goodrich rugged trail's and everyone was impressed how well i did considering everyone there is using boggers So outta these 3 tires which do yall think would give me best performance Mud and hold up on the road

Bf Goodrich M/t 35/1250/18 34.8 diam
Toyo open country M/t 35/1250/18 35 diam
Nitto Mud Grappler 35/1250/18 35.04 diam

Only Mud tires i really ever tried out on previous trucks were Wild Country's and Mud Campainer's And i'd like to have boggers swampers but im puttin this on a daily driver

Please Share ur Opinions

I've read test on all three tires. The BFG MT KM's are sort of the standard by which other mud terrian tires are judged. You can't go wrong with them. The Toyo MT's are supposed to be very quiet on the road for a mud tire. The Nitto Mud Grapplers, while tough looking are supposed to be very loud on pavement. All three work pretty well in the mud according to the tests that I have read. Bottom line, I'd suggest the BFG's or Toyo's.

Yea i think im leanin mostly toward the BFG's then toyo's the nitto dosent look like it has enough open lug and the bfg's will be less likely to rub i belive.

Btw were do u read up on the tire performance's

Thx for ur input as always wandell

Usually in the 4x4 and off road mags. Off-Road, Four Wheeler, etc.

i would go with the bfg out of those three, if you are looking for a tire with the mud peformance of a bogger the MT baja claws are the only thing that is close that has good road manners too, if you want the mud performance of a bogger i would look into the baja claw

I really don't know what to think about the new IROKs. I know one member at FTW that had some problems with the 36x13.50-20's on his SD. Apparantly he had some problems with belts breaking and had to have a couple of them replaced. He now has Toyo's on his SD. I also read a few post about cracks in the sidewall by some more SD owners. They have been getting good reviews in the magazines but I guess time will tell.
