mickey t question??
Just wondering if i could fit this, i have a 2002 lariat 4x4 supercrew and wanted to go with the 33x12.5 mickey t baja claw radials on a 17 inch rim. Wanted to know if they would fit on a stock suspension setup and or if i needed to go with a 16" insted.
does anyone run the baja claw radials and have pics.
and also i see people say that they run 305's which is pretty much a 33x12.5 but has anyone actually put a 33x12.5 on there truck and fit it on a stock setup??
Thanks

I don't know about them fitting your application, but my buddy has them on his 70 something Bronco (not a daily driver either) and he hates them.
They ride like you strapped bricks on the tires.
I know the suspension is probably smoother on your 2002, but I dont see how they could be comfortable though.

Yes, you can fit 33x12.50's on your truck. It really doesn't matter if you use a 16 or 17 inch wheel. If you look at the various tire manufacturer's websites you will see only a fraction of inch difference between the various tires, whether they label them as 305/70-16's or 33x12.50-16's. If you mount the 33's on a 10 inch wide wheel you will have to trim the front bumper's lower plastic valance and/or crank up the torsion bars. If you use a 8 inch wide wheel you may or may not have to crank up the torsion bars or trim the valance.

16 or 17 doesn't matter the difference is in the tire for example a 16 inch rim would be a 305/75/16.A 17 would read 305/70/17 and in a 10 inch wide wheel there will probably be a little bit of rubbing, a torsion bar crank or a little trimming would fix it if there is any. I've found out f150's are like finger prints no two are the same some will rub on a 285 series tire on 10 inch wide rims and i've seen 305 series tire on 10 inch wide rims clear just fine its all about trail and error good luck and post picks once you find out.

you can fit that size tire, i did it with very little trimming and two torsion cranks. As far as those tires i would advise against it unless you plan on only driving your truck on the weekends. my friend put them on his truck as a daily driver and less than a year later he was buying new tires. they looked sweet though.

I have the exact tires on my truck with 17" rims. They look great and fit with no problem with a stock suspension. I have had them for 3 months, still look new.
