Have 2002 F150 4x2 xlt supercab

I want 285/75/16 but on a 16x10 rim will they work with no lift?

I dont mind to do a little trim but dont know if it will work? I want to get the new XD series rims.

I have the same truck same year. I just posted that same question yesterday. Here was the response they gave me.
Yes, you can go bigger without a lift. I've seen people run a 285/75-16 (33x11.50) on a stock 4x2, but it is an extremely tight fit. I'd suggest a 265/75-16 (32x10.50).

It will probably rub with a 10" wheel. Also, the tire proportion will look odd, as Wendel would say, stuffed. Go with an 8" rim and 265, or get a lift.

Yeah, you will have to lift the truck at least 3 inches to fit 33's on a 10 inch wide wheel. Wheel size plays a major part in tire fitment. While a 285/75-16 will barely fit using a stock 16x7 inch wheel, it won't with a 16x10.
