Anybody else have this problem? After it rains or if it's been damp when my truck has been sitting for say overnight or while I'm at work when I take off driving & go to stop the right front break will lock up. It's done this so often I've flatspotted my right front tire. After I stop (using light pressure on the break) a few times it dries up or if I use light pressure on the break while driving a few hundred feet it dries up & does OK. I've checked the pads & they're OK but I have got to get new tires soon (especially a right front) & I need to get this fixed. My brother-in-law has a 97 also & his does this too, but he doesn't drive his daily so it doesn't happen as often. Any help will be appreciated. thank you. Sorry I guess I outta mention I have a 97 F-150.

 

My 97 F150 Lariat did the same. New brake pads or rotors over the years did not solve the issue. I just lived with it.
