Question New Revos

I am finally getting rid of my original Goodyear RTS tires. I am going to replace them with Bridgestone Revos. Can anyone tell me what they paid for 265/70-17's? Is everyone happy with them?

Bridgestone Dueller Revo's are really pricey unless you really play the game and deal. For instance, 6 months ago I was in the market for these tires (they are the best!) - and here is how it went:
A. Went to Firestone, got price for 4 tires, road warranty, mounting, balancing, tax, -- out the door for $840.
ABOUT HAD A HEART ATTACK!
B. Searched the net for the best price for same. $770. TOO MUCH!
C. Went to Discount Tire, they don't stock these tires but will order them and your cost $660. LOOKING GOOD!
D. Decided to test Firestone on their price guarantee - they will beat any price by 10%. Took my written estimate from Discount Tire to the same Firestone Dealer and they gave me a price of $648. TOOK THIS PRICE.

Because I was willing to negotiate at many levels, for only a week, I saved $192. Never take the first price without negotiating! Anyway, this is my story and I am sticking to it.

Best on and off road tire I have owned yet. Semper Fi

I got them about two years ago from Tirerack for $117ea plus $15ea shipping and $15ea for mount & balance. The prices have gone up due to their reputation and popularity.

I picked up a set of revos last night at Tiresplus for $606.00 include mount, balance, valve stem, disposal and tax. Plus I get a $50.00 rebate which brings my net price down to $556.00. My local firestone gave me a price of $795.00 before rebate. It pays to shop around. The tires ride great, I didn't realize how badly the RTS's were riding. And they still had 7/32nds left.

My RTS's were in pretty bad shape with over 70,000 miles. I went to the local Firestone dealer today and was quoted $644 for 265/70/17 Revo's, including mount, balance, warranty and tax. Plus I've got a $50 mail in rebate.

the revo's are excellent tires. my grandpa bought them for his cherokee in november 03 and still has 8/32 left. he got his through wholesale and paid under 400 bucks installed, so obviously he had some connections.

I live in Cheyenne and you sure did get a good deal. That would be worth driveing an hour down to Denver for. I'll be in the market to purchase a set of tires early next year and those Revo's have a good reputation, so I may go to Denver if they will match your price.

I had been happy with my REVOS, but they are getting a little noisy at 30K plus I have a vibration at 39 MPH. Rotate/balance did not fix it. Perhaps it the missing square "o-rings" onteh '97 hubs??

I got my rebate form from the Firestone dealer. I believe the rebate ended Sept. 25, but as long as you bought your tires before that you should still be able to find a form and get your $50. Better hurry, I think you have to have it postmarked by Oct. 9.
