Please answer this tire question

I am going to be getting 1997-2000 f-150 and I want to know if I put a 4 inch suspention lift on it if I can fit 35 inch tires but i dont want to use the stock rims, I also want to know if it will look good i have seen some trucks that have 35's jammed in there and it looks like the tires are to big for the truck. some one give me a good suggestion on tires and lifts wut combos look good, and if my 4 inch with 35's combo will be alright, pictures will help me to

what brand of lift?? Is your truck 4x4 or 2wd. some 4 inch lifts will only fit 33" tire and others can fit up to a 36" tires

I would suggest the 5 inch RCD lift or the 6 inch Fabtech. All of the lifts, including the 4 inch Trailmaster, will allow you to fit a 35x12.50 tire on a 10 inch wide wheel with 4 1/2 inches of backspacing.
