Just in-case!!

Anyone reading any of my posts understands I'm having a very difficult time deciding if I want 35" tires on my 04 F-150 4x4. The tires and wheels are being installed Thursday. Here is my question. This is incase I back-out of the 35/12.50/18 Toyo M/T tires.

Who makes a good looking, good performing, low highway noise AT or Mud Terrian 285-295-305 18" tire?

I'm having a awful time finding 18" tires. The wheels I've picked at Weld 445 and don't come in 17" Maybe they come in 20" and I'd have more options?

I'm sure you know it, but I'm also doing the 2" Fabtech leveling kit.

Have you consider the 285/65-18 (33x11.50) BFG AT KO? How about a 325/60-18 (34x13.50) Nitto Terra Grappler?

Latest....

Here is the latest. Les Schwab has been great through this process. No when I walk-in, the manager says "what's up Rich"? Like I'm part of the family. If anyone is in the Sacramento, CA area, Les Schwab at Elverta & Walegra will take great care of you. Steve runs the show and he's been awesome. Here is what Steve & I agreed on. The Weld wheels & 35" Toyo M/T will be installed tomorrow. I will test the tire combination over the weekend. If for whatever reason I decide the tires are NOT what I want, I will return Tuesday and get the 33" tires. I found out Weld makes a very similar wheel in 17". I will go with the Cooper SXT Traction tire. This tire looks like a Mud Terrain, but rides and sounds like an AT. Awesome looking tire. I feel better knowing I'm not stuck. The good thing is I will be going up in the hills this weekend. (probably not off-road) I don't want to take advantage of Les Schwab. I will be able to see the power loss, mpg etc etc.... My 1514 Superchip programmer shipped yesterday. I wish I had it for the weekend. I will keep you all posted on my findings. I will post some photo's tomorrow evening.

2" leving kit

I made a mistake on the make of the 2" leveling kit. I thought it was fabtech, but it's actually here.

I notice they recomend 33 x12.5 tires. I"m wondering if I shoud of gone with one of the other options? There are 2 1/2" kits on the market. This kit is machined aluminum whereas the others I've seen are polyurathane. (or something like that?)
