A drop would be nice looking. Actually the only thing that the 04's really need is a leveling kit (either drop that back end down some or raise the front up). I guess it isn't as easy to level an 04 as it is with the 97-03's?

You have 2 options to level your truck: raising the front or lowering the rear.
Since you're thinking of lowering the truck, i'll start with the rear end lowering kit. Made by Ground Force (http://www.truckaddons.com/Catalog/s...nd_force15.htm). This will lower your rear by about 2 inches. Looks pretty sweet with some 20" wheels.
I went with raising the front end. There are several manufacturers for this. I went with Autospring because the spacers are made of steel. (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33585). The Daystar kit seems to be popular as well, but it's made of polyurethane not steel. (http://daystarweb.com/cgi-bin/lookup...6fa86a55380eed)

thanx freddy,
now if i lower the rear, will it even out with the front? if so then this will be the way ill go for now. but to be honest the look of the truck is growing on me and i may just leave it alone...

It won't level it exactly as your stock difference, from the front to back, is about 3"s. The lowering kit is 2"s but will give you about 2.5"s. So just about there, but not exactly. But to the naked eye, it should be pretty level. I've seen it up close. Looks really nice with 20" wheels ... and I usually don't like lowered trucks.
