I have a 1999 f150 xlt with 72K miles on it and a day ago the brake pedal dropped suddenly about 2 inches when applying the brakes at a low speed and then was back to normal. This did this twice and then this morning the abs light came on solid and stays on. What might this be ?

 

sounds like false abs activation. most posters find a problem in one of the vehicle speed sensors. find out what codes the abs module stored and we can help more.
