97' WIth 3"Body Lift Tire Question PLEASE HELP!
I got a 97 f-150 2wd and i just put a 3" body lift on and now im wondering about the tires and wheels. I'm going to buy the Eagle Alloy 16"x10". Now the thing i was wondering was if i could Put LT305/70R 16 All terrain pro comps on the wheels and have no rubbing? I just want to know if you guys know whats the biggest i can go without rubbing. I dont want to do any adjustments so if anyone has any answers i sure need it. thanks guys i knew you would help!
You can easily fit 305/70-16's (33x12.50) on 16x10's with a 3 inch body lift. You could fit 315/75-16's (35x12.50) but you would have to crank up your torsion bars and trim some plastic off the front bumper's lower plastic valance. Either size will look great.
Heck I have a hard time seeing a 305/70/16 on a 10" wheel fitting on there with no rubbing. If it was on an 8" wheel there might be a chance but a 10" would be tight. Since he's got a 2wd there are no torsion bars to crank either.
Well i put the body lift on and i wanted to stay away from doing other stuff on it for a while. what if i went with a 8" wheel you think that would work? also if the 16x8 wont rub then what tire should i get. do you guys think the 285 all terrain pro comps would work or what.
