Question BIG Brake upgrade

Im thinking of upgrading my stock brake system in 2 ways:

1) Upgrading to a stoptech big brake upgrade ( 4 piston caliper, 14" rotor, steel brake lines, slotted rotors, and performance pads)

2)Upgrading with a performance plus brakes package( OEM caliper, steel brake lines, cross drilled slotted rotors, and performance brake pads)

The first setup will run about 2,300 and the second will run about 600. Please advise if the big brakes are really worth it. Im running 24" rims and need to stop them better. please advise with anybody that has done this or are brake experts.

Personally, with the extra weight, the two extra pistons I'd say cant hurt. Rotors that are both cross drilled AND slotted also are recommended against by most manufacturers I've seen since they DO cool, but more than you need (and the heat/cool cycle ends up getting you cracked rotors).

The ST kit will get you more braking surface, better dissipation, and of course more power. Too bad they dont make something for the back though.
