gas mileage

gas mileage

i would like to put on a 5 inch lift...anyone know of a good reliable brand? also, right now i have the 285/70/17 bfg all terrains on my 99 f150 4x4, but if i lift it i would like to move to a 35" tire. how bad would my gas mileage suffer from this. thx

go with a 6" fabteck lift i love it, you will be able to clear 35" no problem if you take it heavy offroading you will get a little rub on the bootom of the plastic bumper a saw fixed that problem for me, about the mpg i got about 11 or 12 on my 03 5.4 fx4 with the 6" with a 4.10 gearing, i get 10 mpg to 11 now with the below mods if you have more qeustions post them i probably got an answer
