Yes you can do that. i have 18x9" rim with 325/65r18 nitto terra grapler tires on an 01 supercab 4x4 no lift. They barely rub a little bit on the frame when turned all the way, but its not doin any damage or hindering vehicle control and it looks badass.

WELL, I PURCHASED A SET OF AMERICAN EAGLE ALLOY 16X10 WITH 4 1/2 IN. BACKSPACING. WITH THESE WHEELS BEING SO WIDE WILL GOING WITH 305/70 MAKE ME HAVE TO CUT ALOT? WOULD IT BE A BETTER CHOICE TO GO WITH 285/75 SINCE I DIDNT GET AN 8 IN. WHEEL? If anyone has some good pics of Their truck at stock height with 305's on a 16x10 wheel please post or email to me. Thanks alot i want to get some tires for these wheels very soon.

You made the right choice. As for pics, I already posted pics of my Screw at stock height with 16x10's and 285/75-16 BFG's on the first page of this topic. Just click on the links. You will probably have to trim about 1/2 or 3/4 inches more than I did.

Those pics with 285s look pretty good i am just afraid that the tire is going to look short and stumpy on the 10inch wheel. On the other hand i dont want to cut so much off of my bumper that it is very noticable. I just dont know what to do. Thanks for the help though.
