Another speedometer question.

Hello everyone, I have searched this subject on the forum and have learned some very usefull, interesting info.

I just wanted to verify what I learned. First off, I have a 1997 2wd f150, 2wd 4.2 liter V6 with a manual.

So if I have this figured out correctly then the VSS attached to the transmission is what governs my vehicle speedometer, and the ABS sensor attached to the diff. is what controls the function of the ABS.

If I want to recalibrate my vehicles speedometer I need to change the gear in the VSS, but the gears are only available up to a certain size, so let's say that I'm running 35's with 4.56's I may not be able to get the exactly correct VSS gear?

Thanks
