Either Bendix Titanium Metallics or Raybestos Quiet Stops will give decent stopping with a low-dust formulation.

Expect to spend around $65-75 for either of these pad sets at Advance.

I installed Wagners ($45)on my 97 last fall. They stop well, but do dust some. After 8 months without washing (yeah, I know..), they look about like the OEM pads did after two weeks.

Thumbs up

I used Wagner Thermo Quiet and would not hesitate to use them again. they were excellent. The local Sears Auto uses these so they must present no problems. I bought them at ACME auto.

Brake pads?

If your looking for a pad brand that will provide you with low dust and exceptional stopping power over OEM and brand X from your local parts store, then install HAWK HPS performance pads. These pads are awesome and are nearly the same cost as the others. I have used these pads on many applications including my 2001 F-150 4x4 and my 580 RWHP Vortech blown 86 Mustang LX.
