Squeeling problem part 2

I posted this problem a while ago I have noticed some new characteristics with the problem.

Problem;
The front brakes squeel from about 10-35 miles an hour on the front of the truck. Dosent matter if you are comming to a stop (applying the brakes) or taking off from a stop (letting off the brakes). The brakes wont do it during the mornings when the air temp is cool and humid. But it has started to warm up here (90's) and it does it all the time in the afternoon. The squeeling also seems to increase/decrease when you make hard, sharp turns.

I have already replaced the pads twice and rotors once, turned them too. I have done all the cleaning, lubing slides, and putting sticky stuff on the back of the pads.

Some advice would be greatly appreciated.
Brett

Sounds similar to my problem. Whenever I go around a curve I can hear the pads squeeling against the rotor. I've dealt with it for years now. At one point I went through a set of pads in 3 months. I think its the caliper. I've heard that you have to clean the ever living #$&*^* out of the calipers when you do a brake job. There are slide tracks that the ends of the pads rest in. Make sure those arent worn out.

I had a squealing problem once myself... someone here suggested that I ensure the brake fluid was filled to the proper level. Mine was a little low, I filled it... squeal gone.

Just my 2 cents....

I am thinking about just buying new calipers and saying the hell with it. Do new calipers usually come with new tracks where the pads sit.

I too had/have a horrendous screeching after I changed my front pads for the second time...

The first time around, my service deal was still in effect so the dealer did the fronts. The second time I did them myself. I bought the QuietStops and went to work. The pads included the new little braces, so I figured I would change them as well... Wrong answer.

Those ****** little braces are nightmares. There must be a trick, because, for the life of me, I couldn't get them to stop rubbing against the rusty edge of the rotor. I have ripped those four wheels of several times attempting to correct the problem, only to find a few days latter, after some mountain drving, the screech was back.

This weekend, before I go MTBing, I am gonna swap those little bastards out entirely. Next will be the dealer...

Ya know, how'bout just making calipers that fit the pads, or vice-versa. My '90 was not this much trouble...
