What size wheels?

Gotta wheel question guys--

I have 285/75/16s on my stock rims. Can I fit 16x10s or do I need to go with 16x8s in order to keep my present tires? Thanks for the help fellas!

You can mount the 285/75's on 16x10's. The tire manufacturers recommend a maximum wheel width of 9 inches for 285's but I've run 16x10's and 285 BFG AT KO's since 2001 without any problems. I also know a couple of other guys that have been running this combo longer than I have without any problems. Now, if you do a lot of off roading, especially if you plan to air-down your tires, I wouldn't run this combo. The 16x10's don't offer a lot of sidewall protection with the 285's. Here's a couple of pics of mine.
