well visually inspect the sensor wiring maybe it chaffed one or ripped one off somewhere. check the fuses. not much else to do without getting the codes. does autozone scan abs codes or just pcm codes?

I just corrected this problem on a f150. I pulled off the Speed sensor that is on the rear differential. Its sits on top of the rear differential. Remove the one bolt witha 3/8 boxed wrench. Its held on with to side clips. You can use a meter if you have one to check the circut. If you dont get a reading it is open. The part was a little over 10 bucks. I have heard the ford house will charge you a measely 170 bucks to fix it for you. Good luck
