Wassup guys, great looking trucks. I was wondering if you could also post the rim width that you are going to run. I'm trying to figure out the best combo for my truck.

I was thinking of running 20x9.5 with 295/40's(I saw some guy running this combo and I like the look and the amount of sidewall they allow)

Then I saw the fat lip series from budnik like the ones silver is running and I believe those come only in 20x10's and 20x8's. I would rather have this style but I don't know what size tires to run.

How does 275/50 front and 305/50 rear sound. Will they fit if I drop my truck 3/5. I don't want any rubbing if I can help it. I also want to go as wide as I can with a 3/5. Any opinions are welcome. Help me out guys what do you think?

The fatlips only come in 20X8.5 and 20X10. If you want a little bigger tire and you don't drop it really low then I would suggest a 265-50 front and a 295-45 rear. Looks hot too.

Are these sizes available in the same brand. That was another problem I was told about if I run different size rims.

Will these sizes protect my rims? I would like some tire outside of the rim just in case I rub a side walk or something.

I think all the Billet Co's use this size with the new hoops. And yes the tire is much much more conservative. In one of the latest Sporttruck or Truckn mags there is a pic of an Expedition with those size tires.

Thanks a whole bunch Silver, you've help me out a lot. Will the rear clear with a 3/5 drop?

I don't want to c-notch the frame but am I going to need one if I go 5"? What about 4"?

How long did you wait for your wheels? How much? Any recomendations on a good place to order mine?

With the right offsets you should not have any problems. I waited like an extra 5 weeks for my Budnik rims, total 9 weeks, which was ridiculas. The best place to get them from would be from Roger Lemere right here at the online store. He knows all the right offsets etc and can get whatever brand/Company/style you like.

Thumbs up

Much Mahalo's Silver,
I emailed Roger the other day and I'm hoping to get a reply back any day now. You've helped a lot. I am now very confident in the tire/rim combo I am going to get.

I am looking at the budnik Tiller FX's.
20x8.5 front on 265/50 toyo's
20x10 rear on 295/45 or 305/50 toyo's
Let's see what Roger can tell me.
This along with a 3/4 western chassis drop
with front and rear hellwig swaybars.

What do yah think? I can picture it all in my head already. I can't wait.

Sounds good, you can also do 20X10 front and rear with 295-40's all around. If you don't need the front to tuck far under the front fender. I use to have 20X9.5's all around with 295-40's but I wanted a different look (hot rod look) so I went with the different widths front and rear. Just hang in there with Roger, he pretty busy.
