Cool Which type of rim ???

I'm looking at changing rims, possibly increasing to a 16" or 17" rim as well. I am currently running 235/75R15's on a 15x8 rim. Not sure yet though, it is hard to find a chrome steel rim in those sizes. There are aluminum, polished and chrome steel. I currently run a chrome steel in the summer time and love that I don't have to real take care of them other than a wash every once in a while. There are some nice polished rims but I am a little concerned, do they hold up like the chromed steel do in that they don't have to be waxed every other week? I am running aluminum rims for the winter time because of all the salt and that they can be machined again to looking like new for about $150 CDN a rim when needed. Any thoughts on this? There are a lot of nice polished rims but don't want all the work if that is what comes with them! I do too much driving throughout the year, so I try and keep the maintaince down on things like this but still like it to shine.

Cool

I would definitely go with chrome if you want a shiny wheel. These are a real pain. I bought mine this summer and still have not yet got all of them polished. There's no "finish/sealer" on them, just bare aluminum that is polished.

Cool

Davensa, how often do you clean and wax or seal your wheels? I love my steel chromies but I am a little interested in a couple of polished wheels, so I am wondering what kind of maintance you do on them to keep them clean and shiny?
