Smile Finally running on new tires

Finally, I received my new tires on thursday. They are the new BFG KO's in the 35x12.5R16.5LT All Terrain. I have to tell you they are a great ride. Great handling, cornering, stability. I will try to get the pictures a soon as posible to post them here and in my site.

Other thing. They sound sweet and growling. Kind of a comparison here. For all of you that have made exhaust modifications. You know the difference between the OEM and the aftermarket. Big difference. Well, let me tell you, here is the same. When the rear break loose and start chirping that's how a tire should sound. Not like the Cheapo-tex OEM. I'm happy.

JMTruck:

Question? How did you fit those 35's under your truck with only the 3" body lift? Or do you have more lift than that? I couldn't remember how much lift you have. If the 3" body lift is all you have, did you have to trim some of your lower valence on the lower part of your front bumper?

Nitrox

I have been so busy that the trimming is still missing. Yes, I will have to trim a small piece from both sides of the front valance lower corners.

I am trying to resist the temptation of doing the torsions, at least one inch. But if I do it I will do the rear as well. The rear is OK but I can get two inch lifting blocks from Superlift. They come tappered and ready to be mounted over the stock ones, in order to keep the bumpstops. Personally I prefer the stock (taller rear) stance. Kind of agressive look waiting for the kill.

Cool

On sunday I will give her a well needed bath. Then I will take the best shots I can. I suppose that I can have the photos in my hands by Sunday or Monday. So, I think that by the middle of the week the photos will be on the net.

JMTruck:

I'm with you, the temptation to crank on those torsion bars is very tempting. However I really do not want to do it. I'm seriously thinging about doing it though.
