Wheel Sizes 135mm or 114mm ???
Wheel Sizes 135mm or 114mm ???
Seems like the rims come in 2 sizes. 5 lug 135 mm and 5 lug 114 mm. How do i know if they fit my truck. I have a 2001 supercrew. The wheels i found are expedition rims so i figured they would fit. what does this size refer to ? space between lugs ?

Like LGJ said 5 x 135. Unless you have the 7700# then it is 6 x 135. The numbering refers to the number of lug nuts and the bolt pattern used. For an F-150 it means 5 lug nuts on an 135mm diameter circle. So if you were to draw a circle that had a center point on the center of your hub and evenly space out 5 lug nuts in this case 72° apart you have an F-150 bolt pattern. The 5 x 114 is used on Explorers and I think that Rangers also use that pattern. Also 03 Expys have the same bolt pattern as an 04 F-150 so they won't fit either.

Typically they are not referred to as 5x114mm. They are usually refered to as 5x4.5", and yes every Ranger, every Bronco II, and 94-02 Explorers have used that bolt pattern. The only wheels that will fit on your truck is 97-03 F150 with the 5 lug pattern and 97-02 Expeditions. Those trucks are the only ones to ever use the 5x135mm pattern.

Well he got some of it right. They're 17" wheels with a 5 lug pattern
No Ford ever made has used a pattern listed as 117mm. Those wheels are a 5x135mm pattern.
Rule #1, alot of people on ebay don't **** about what they're selling.
