With new front rotors...new bearings?

Planning on new rotors for the front. Would my current bearings/cups be salvageable to install in the new rotor hubs or should I plan on buying new inner and outer bearings and cups?

I have 47000 miles on the original bearings.

You would be safe if you just cleaned, inspected, and repacked the bearings if they were in good shape. Make sure you replace the grease seals as well as using grease that is acceptable for disc brakes.

New rotors come with cups installed. Check your bearings for discoloration and pitting. New seals would be a great idea. Inner and outer dearings both sides would run @ $50

Thanks Pestco...that's great to know that the new rotors come with the cups. I just ordered some Brembos and Hawk HPS pads from Tire Rack about a half-hour ago...get them in 4 days. I closely inspect the bearings for discoloration and wear.

Regards,
Kevin
