Question What would look good?

Alright I finely have the money to start buying everything, I hope. The only problem is that I am having problems with what size tire to go with. I am wanting to use an 18"X8" center line series 98 rim. I am also going to drop my truck with the belltech 3-4 drop. I don't have anything ordered yet cause I want to have everything picked out so I can install it all at once(or so thats the plan). Any suggestions on what I should use will be welcome.

You try checking out www.tirerack.com or www.discounttiredirect.com
They have some good combo deals for rims and tires, but I don't think they have Centerlines.
Belltech is a good reputable company with excellent products. So you can't go wrong there. Be sure when you buy the lowering kit, also buy the Belltech shocks as well. Best of luck!

f150freak,
I've been thinkin' of lowering my truck too.
What is the cost for a complete kit. Seems a lot of people use the Bell-tech.

The kit I am going to get is a belltech 3-4 drop I've priced it from $319.00-$349.00. I also looked at ground force which they wanted close to $500.00 (if I remember). The only problem is I am going to go much further than just a suspension drop. I am adding a hellwig rear sway bar, set of edelbrock shocks, and maybe a set of load handler rear springs to help reduce body roll. What I am trying to do (and this maybe a childish reason) is to be able to take corners like my neighbors mustang. Also I just checked, and are you going down to austin with the rest of us next weekend to the HEATWAVE???

Cool

the ground force kit you mentioned at $500 also includes the shocks if I am not mistaken. The Bell Tech in the $320 - $350 range does not. Also, ground force does not have a kit with 3" front drop, there kit is a 2". They are both very good kits though.

I got the western chassis kit (the people who created drop spindles) for about $550 which included 3" front coils and hangers and shackles for the rear for a 3 - 5 inch drop. I droped mine 3/5. This also included Doestch Tech sport truck shocks, the pinion angle adjustment shim. And the alighment shims for the upper control arm so it can be aligned properly.

The parts were all heavy duty, solid steel and fit like a charm. Getting those hangers off were a pain the the a$$ though.

Get a truckin' magazine and check out sport truck direct.
