Post psi?

I just replaced the factory tire on my F150 2WD ext. Went up to Pirelli 265 75 16 and they look awesome! I noticed that they made the truck drive like a truck. I don't mind that at all but it's a little "mushy". (that't the only word I can think of) What are some thoughts on tire pressure with these bigger tires? And, what about having the spedo re-calibrated? I tow a 4000LB boat frequently..

What do you have the pressure at now? I just took mine in for a service and the dealer put the pressure on mine to 50 psi all the way around. I like the ride alot better with the higher air pressures . . . a little more firm and not as "mushy" as you put it.

That being said, my truck is a 4x4 extracab with LT 245/75R16's . . . but I don't see how that should change things all that much. What is the recommended pressure on the plate inside your door?
