Front rotors on the rear?

I'm guessing that the front and rear rotors are different sizes, so I couldn't just have the front rotors I replaced turned and then use them on the rear could I?

PS - Once again the information on this site provided by the users proved to be invaluable. When my front rotors wouldn't come off, the first thing I would have tried to do would have been to hit them from behind. But thanks to this site I KNEW just to bang on them and hit them from the front until all the rust was loosened up and then rotors broke free. Thanks to all.

2wd or 4wd?
Front and rear rotors are listed separately and at different prices on tirerack.com, so I would assume you can't rotate the rotors.

there is only one thing the same on front and rear rotors for these trucks...the lug nut pettern.

other than that they are completly different! the fronts are bigger and vented, the rears are solid, not vented and have a small drum brake inside them!!(for the e-brake)

I figured that would be the case since they listed them separately but you never know until you ask.... Thanks for the replies.
