A BIG SORRY TO TJOHNSTON FOR DOUBTING HIM!!
Well TJohnston all I can say is I am sorry for doubting you. I said before that I would not believe you until I saw it from my own eyes. Well tonight I saw a 2wd with 285/75/16's at TACO BELL(my favorite). I talked to the guy about them rubbing and he said they rubbed on turns and once when he went mudding the inside fender plastic moldings(wheel well plastic) ripped out. So there it is I am a believer of TJohnston now. Mudder I gave him the site address and told about the rallies. So next time we have a get together I will call him up and get him to come so you can see for yourself. Cause I am sure you are still skeptical.

Here is another tid bit. If you are only worried about lock to lock then you can put spacers on the inside of the rack. I you to have to do this on the mustangs for big wheels and tires on the front. I can get the part # for the mustang rack, I don't know if it is the same as the F150 rack but all you do is remove the dust cover from each side of the rack and take a nylon rack limiter spacer and clip over the shaft. The spacers are a c type of design with one side open to slide over the shaft. Remount the dust covers and this will cure the lock to lock rubbing. I didn't have to do this on my truck as it didn't rub.....period...
