I need to replace my rotors on my 2000 F-150 Lariat 4WD 5.4L

I have replaced pads myself before, but never the rotors...

From browsing the old posts, I think I inferred that on my model, it is easy to replace the rotors (on the front)

Can anyone verify?

Once you take the tire off, the rotors pull right off correct?

Yes - they should come right off; however, they may be rusted on. If they are, take a hammer and smack them a few times.

Don't try to knock them off w/ the hammer - hit inward.

The vibrations will allow them to seperate from the hub. If you hit out on them, they can somehow get jammed onto the lugs and then have to be cut off.

The one obvious thing that hasn't been said is make sure you remove your calipers first. After that you just need to separate the rotor from the bearing assembly. I would take some good rust eating penetrating oil (WD40) and spray around the center hole of the rotor and the wheel studs to try and free it up easier.
