Thumbs down Brake Light Failure

Hi,

I was just told while at a stop sign that my brake lights failed to illuminate. The tail lights and the turn signals both work, but the brake lights do not on both sides. The fuse is good.

Any thoughts?

I just had a Rhino Liner installed yesterday, but I know there is no correlation

Towing package trucks have a rear light fuse under hood also. Might want to check the switch to see if it has somehow been pushed out of adjustment or gone bad

Issue resolved. It was the Stop Light Switch. It is connected to the brake Pedal, about 8" up from the pad. It is the size of a Tic-Tac box and is black and cost a whole whopping $12.00.
