Post Big Tires and such

Hey everyone!

I recently purchased a 98 f250 with 315/75r16
tires. They look great on the truck but I am wondering if I need to get the computer adjusted. Also wondering if these tires can void out an extended warranty. Any thoughts?
thanks

Bubba, What kind of tires are those? I've seen 305/70/16, but not 315/75/16.

They are Big O. Like a 36 inch tire I guess. Any thoughts on the computer thing?

A 315/75R16 is roughly:
12.5 inches wide by 34.5 inches tall

Look on the sticker located in the door frame. It will tell you the size of the original tires. Use that info to see how much larger the aftermarket tires are. You don't "have" to re-calibrate the computer unless you want an accurate speedometer and odometer.

As far as the warranty goes, you'll have to read your contract or call the company to find out. I'm sure every company's policy is different.
