Unhappy uh oh!

I've had my new BFG AT 285/75/16 on MT Challenger 16x8 wheels for about 20 miles and my power steering pump went(I think)right while in a slow speed turn. Talk about a tough turn!! Does anyone think the dealer is going to **** me because I have the bigger tires, or should it be a warrantee fix? I need to call the dealer tomorrow, so any input would be helpful.

Exclamation

Put your old wheels and tires back on so the dealer can't blame you

yeah, I thought about that...I guess I'm more concerned WHY it happened, rather than who will pay for it. It's not a big deal to change, althought it's been a lot of years since I've had to do it! I know alot of members are running bigger tires, anyone have any problems like this?

I had the same tires on a set of centerlines on a 97 4x4 that i used to own and no problems at all. I drove the the truck with that tire set up on it for about a 8 months or so and never had a problem. I am selling my 4x2 that i have now and getting a 98 4x4 and plan to put the same tires on it again. I'm sure that the larger tires may cause things to work a little harder but i don't think that it would make that big of a difference.
