315's & 3" lift

I'm new to this and would like to know.I'm looking to put 315x75x16 BFG's on 16x10 wheels on my 02 F150 4x4 Flareside, with a 3" body lift. Will this work or is there going to be major cutting or bigger lift needed. Any help would be great before I drop $1200 on tires & wheels.

I have a 02 Screw FX4 and just put 315/70/17 BFG AT's on it with just a little trimming off the front air dam and the botton of the rear inner fender, so you should not have a problem espcially with a lift. You could always crank your torsion bars to give the front a little more room.

Yeah, you'll probably have to crank up the torsion bars and trim the front bumper's lower plastic valance to fit the 35's on 10 inch wide rims with a 3 inch body lift.

It's really going to depend on the backspacing of those 10" wheels. I've got 6" lift up front and my tires used to rub slightly on the back corners of the plastic valence. My wheels are 4.625" backspacing (stock), but I believe most Eagle wheels are slightly less (around 4). This may put the tire out far enough so at full lock you don't have too much rubbing, but I'd certainly be prepared to do some cutting.

Thanks alot for the info. Sounds like it will work, so I'm going for it. I believe it will look good. By the way I was thinking of getting BFG's AT and American Racing Baja rims.
