17x10" for 2004 F150

I want to run 17x10"s on my 04 F150 but I don't know if they will fit. And I mean with the intention of having a lift. Procomp states that you can run 35" with their 6" lift. But it only accepts up tp 9" wide wheels. With a 6" lift, do you think I can run 17x10" wheels on 33"s or 305's? Please help. this is pending my purchase of wheels.

Those fitment guides usually aren't worth a damn. I'm sure you could run a 17x10 with 6" of lift, especially if you went with something around stock backspacing. Good luck -

Thanks. That makes me feel better about making a purchase I was unsure of. Nice truck by the way.

a 33" tire should fit on the stock 17 or 18" rims without a lift. 6" is overkill for a 10" wide rim. You could probably get away with the Daystar 2.5" spacers in the fornt and be fine with your intended combo.
