Beautiful truck! Do you have a lift on it?

1. That looks GREAT!

2. did you figure out where your rub was happening?

3. The place that installed them had no prob putting these on the stock rim? Just curious i thought that i heard the stockers were too narrow? thanks!

4. What gears do you have?Does it seem slowed?

thanks in advance!

i beleive the rub is against the frame, but it is very minor, and only happens at full turn. the place that put on the tires told me nothing about the rims being too narrow, and i have not noticed any problems. as far as the truck being slowed, maybe. i can't really tell. i am sure it is a little slower, but it has not bothered me any. any more ?'s you have i would be happy to answer.

I hate to ask this....but can you give me some estimates on what you paid to have that done.....the lift and the tires. That is the exact look I want but I don't really know about how much it will all cost total. Truck looks AWESOME.....great job.

Sure, i got the tires for 450, but that was from a friend whose dad owns a tire shop. the lift cost about 200 and around 400 to put it on. the gap guards were around 65 dollars and i put those on myself. there were places that were willing to install the lift for less money, but i wanted a reputable place to do it, and so far i have been happy with everything.

ok so roughly 1100. I appreciate it. I'm eventually going to do it but just trying to get an idea of how much to save up. I'm assuming you got BFG 315's. Again man that is a great looking truck. To me, the lift with the stock wheels makes it look awesome in my opinion.

You are so right about the stock wheels. i think the fx4 rims look great, and you would be hard pressed to convince me to spend any money at all on new rims. anyway, i haven't seen any rims that i would rather have.

great look

Nice looking truck. Just got my lift and 285/26's on 16x10 EA wheels. I have a noise I'm trying to pinpoint and maybe you can help. I never used to hear my radiator fan before, and now I hear it a lot, especially under load from about 1200-2000 rpm's. When I am coasting, I don't hear it anymore. Are you noticing this?
