Thumbs up Pro Comp now offers 35x12.50R17

Just saw where Pro Comp has some new sizes in both the AT and MT, one of them being a 35x12.50R17. It's good to see them adding sizes and hopefully other makers will follow soon.

Also, they have the buy 3 get one free deal going again.

Will the 35x12.50R17 fit on the stock 17" Rims. I know that the 35 wouldn't be to much trouble but like JimmyLee asked will the Width cause any problems???

Is the 3 for 1 deal only offered by 4wheelparts or is it for any distributor of Procomp Tires?

PBALL,
12.50 inch wide tires will fit on the 17 inch stock ORP rims. There are many people on here who have this combo. I believe I just saw a picture of someone with the stock ORP saw tooth wheels and the 33/12.5/17 Procomp AT's on one of the 3" body lift posts in the past few days. Also, 4wheel parts tested the 33/12.5/17 on the stock f150 wheels and they were determined to work fine. So the additional height of the 35/12.5/17 will not be a problem providing you have a lift. I am not sure if the stock height will except a 35 inch tire but I do know that it will work with 33's.

I am planning on a 3" body lift and these new 35/12.50/17 Procomp Mud Terrain tires. I should be purchasing around the end of the month. I also have a red 99 F150 S/C ORP with the stock 17" chrome wheels. I will post pics when I am done.

Hey Kev;
From the sound of it, our trucks must be Twins. I also have the Chrome 17" Rims. I'm going to look into buying the ProComp MT's. Need another set of tires. Thanks for the information!
I'm going to try to see if I can take some pictures of my truck this comming weekend and try to upload it to the net. Any details of which site I should use to upload the pics?? Thanks.

I had the 33x12.50R17 on the stock wheels for a while but ended up getting Weld EVO 17x8.5 wheels. They worked fine on the stock wheels but fit and look much better on the 8.5's.

To fit the 35" tires, you will need at least a 3" body lift, or a 4" suspension lift. As for how much taller the 33's are than the 265's not a whole lot, just about 1". Someone on here probably has the metric conversion formula who can hit it right on the spot, but the biggest difference between the two will be in width, not height.

Cool

265/70/17= 31.6/10.4 7.3 section height.

33/12.50R17= 32.9/12.6/

From Pro Comps site. So yeah, 33's look a good bit different that 265's. I had 265's, I know.
