16" or 15" rims?
I have a '97 2WD and plan on lifting it and putting on 35" tires. I was told, since it's a '97, I can put 15" rims on. Is this true? I'd also like to see a pic of 35's on 15" rims if anyone has one. Do you think this is a good idea? I'm leaning towards this to save me some money. Thanks.

Hey offroad guy,
Yes, you can fit 15" rims on the '97 and newer F-150s, but only a couple will actually fit because of the offset and the backspacing. I have 15x10 American Eagle Alloy 1189's. They fit fine and as far as tire prices, they're a lot cheaper. I'm selling mine because I want some Weld Scorpios V if you're interested. If so, just e-mail me at buckster@f150owner.com
Here's a pic of what they look like. I have a 3" body lift and 33" mud tires.
