Post Need tire advise ASAP

Just bought the 18" Lightning wheels for my new Supercrew. Now I'm looking for tires. Don't want to go low-profile...want to keep same 31" diameter. Therefore the new size would be 285/60-18. I live in New England-rain/snow.

I'm considering the Nitto 404, Toyo Proxes and Michelin Pilot LTX.

Anyone have experience with any of these?

Da man-I also just put the Lightning wheels on my Expy. Your gonna love the way they look!!! I have the michelin pilot LTX 285/55/18's on mine. It kept the same ride height as the stock 375/60/17's did.(30 inches) The michelins are extremly quiet and have a very smooth ride. They also make this tire in 285/60/18 as well. They are not cheap(nearly $1000 in my tires alone!), but you get what you pay for. The only thing Ive heard on the other tires you mentioned was that they are noisy. The treadwear on these michelin's is 400,which is pretty damn good.
Look at www.tirerack.com, they have pics and size charts of all these tires. Goodluck!

I agree with above statement regarding the Michelin Pilots. I have 285/60/18 on Lightning wheels. Great tire = smooth and quiet. Don't know about snow though. Haven't seen that stuff in years.
