Post mud terrains on sand

I have BF Goodrich mud terrains on my truck and i am going to the silver lake sand dunes this weekend. My question is how will these tires do on sand? Any info will be helpfull

Nat... welcome to the site, man... good to have more locals on here.

As for the tires, they should do quite well. You'll need to air them down a bit for the dunes and re-inflate them before you hit the road, but they should do quite well.

A bunch of guys from the MI F150online chapter were out there over Easter weekend... check out the info and pics in the events forum and you'll see a few of them have that tire, and none of them were stuck... coincidence?

OH, and don't forget to look at the Sandusky meet info coming up too... I'll be there for sure, and I know a few others from MIF150 are going as well...

Yeah, Joe's right. Just air them down and you will be fine. I've been there twice already this year. I have,for now, my stock Goodyear RT/S's, two of which are bald. I dropped them to,10psi, never got stuck. I definitly like my 5.4 compared to my Black 99's 4.6. Hope you have alot of fun, I'll be back up there the weekend of May 5th.

Thanks for the info. I have been out there before but only with the stock tires. Just wanted to make sure i wouldnt dig myself in the sand. thanks
