I have a 199 f150 4.6 V8 120000 miles suddenly ABS light in dash came on. checked my repair manual, but no luck..checked this website for helpful info and found info about the "Rear ABS Sensor" I replaced it (20 min. and $18.53). No more light!

Also my Rear ABS light just came on too. Where is the Rear ABS sensor?

 

I had the same problem too, The vehicle speed sensor is located in the rear diff. Literally a 5 min job. if you need more info you can search the past posts.

FYI, the ABS sensor is on the diff. The vehicle speed sensor is avtually on the transmission.
