I have a Screw 4x4 with a 3.55 rear end. It came with Goodyear Wranglers 265/70/17 which are 31.6 inches tall. These tires are rougher and narrower than the Goodyear Eagle II (265/60/17) which are 30.4 inches tall. I am used to the Eagles and like their stability on the corners. The problem with the smaller tire is my speedo over-reads, but the ride is smoother and more comfortable. THe larger tires look better. Which size gives me the best milage? I noticed the larger tires caused slow downs on long hills on the highway.
