RABS problem light not on at all
I have a '98 F-150 with a 4.6 (wasn't sure if the engine mattered).
I've owned the truck for almost two years and didn't realize I had RABS b/c the indicator light has never flashed when the engine starts up.
I just finished verifying the the bulb that should illimuniate the ABS light on the dash is working. So what does it mean that the light doesn't flash at start-up?
Thanks for any help.

I verified that the bulb works. I haven't pulled the dash apart yet to get to the module, but I was wondering if the module was completely fried, if the ABS light should blink at start-up. I wasn't sure if the ABS module controlled the light, or some other electrical component (independant of the ABS module) controlled the light.
It turns out that the light wasn't coming on because the flexible dash panel circuit board was cracked right before the RABS light. A little solder took care of things.
Cracked circuit board
The strange thing is that the rear anti-locks are working now. I guess the RABS module sensed the indicator light circuit wasn't complete and the whole system didn't function.
