Question Does anyone have these?

Hey guys, i was checking out the new Mickey Thompson Classic II's and they are realy BADA$$, i was wondering if anyone has these on there truck?? I have stock 17 in wheels now and i just got bigger tires, but they are a little to big for my stock wheels, so i am saving up for those wheels, just wondered what they looked like if anyone had them on there truck. They sound like a good wheel and a good price for a forged wheel give me some feedback,
thanks,
Oh yeah, anyone have any pics of them?

Dig a little deeper, those aren't forged wheels. Mickey T's other wheels are, but now they are trying to break in to the "normal" people wheel market. Basically those wheel's are just like American Racing Baja's or American Eagle 589's. National tire's pricing on all three are within 5 bucks of each other, so I doubt any one of them is much better than the other. I'm sure they are good wheels though.

Mickey Thompson Classic II's have bigger holes then the American Racing Baja's and the American Eagle 589's. the M/T are fully polished and have steel sleeves in the lug hole to increase strenght.
i like the Mickey Thompson Classic II's better but not sure if they have them for 97-01 f150's. give them a call.

Well according to there website, they are forged wheels, i think they are better than the AR or AE, i like the bigger holes, they have them in 17 in. what do you mean about not having them for a 99' F-150??

Checked their website, http://www.mickeythompsontires.com/wheels/classic.html and the line that says "The Classic II features a cast construction with steel inserts in the lug holes providing a stronger seat area." made me think they were cast - it does say cast. Mickey T's other wheels are all made by Alcoa who is the aluminum forging master, but these are not. Checked their size chart and they show 16X8, 16X10, & 17X9 with 5X135mm bolt pattern, so you should definately be able to get them for your truck. I'm sure they are really nice wheels. I've used Mickey T's tires for a while and like them really well.

Thanks guys, you were right about them not being forged, o well they realy look like a good wheel though, i like how the 17's are 9 in wide too they will work great with my new Pro Comps, And all i know is that i need a 17' in rim, what is all that other BS i know i need a certain bolt pattern and backspacing and offset i think but i don't know what sizes to get, will this wide of a wheel work on a stock setup?? i don't want a lift now just something that looks good, cuz my Pro Comps are a little stressed on the 7.5 in wide stock wheels now i think they have a lifetime warranty too, correct me if i am wrong but if your wheels got all discolored couldn't you send thm back?? oh another question i have is, do you have to take these off in the winter?? will the salt hurt them? thanks for all your help guys

They have the 5x135mm pattern since I was going to buy the 17x9 but those were not released at the time (Nov. 2000). I was past due in need of new tires so I went with a different combination. I like that rim.

Jimmy Lee, are you refering to the Classic's II discoloring and fading? Do you know of any other person with the problem? Do you still have those?
