Lug Nut Torque Requirements

Ok, I got a 2003 F150 4x4 SCrew FX4 w/17" 5 spoke Alum rims.

I did my first tire rotation today and I look at the lug nut torque requirments that come w/the jack.

Notice that it said for 7 nut use 100 ft-lbs and for 5 nut use 150 ft-lbs. Being that I have the 5 nut assembly, I thought 150 ft-lbs was a bit excessive. Figured it was a typo on the instructions and I tightened them down to 105 ft-lbs. Can anyone verify this? Or was 150 ft-lbs the right torque requirement.

PS...Ford need to get their head out of the sand. The stock tire jack was fully extended and my front tire was still on the ground. (my suspension is OEM stock). How the 'eff am I supposed to change a flat with this POS.....

Didn't you get the Ford brand 2x4 for use when using the jack or to block the truck when the tranny lets go when you bought the truck?

My manual said the same thing but I just went to 100lbft with the stock wheels after I spun 2 lug nuts with the 150lbft setting. My aftermarket wheels are only to 90lbft anyhow.
