Every day on my way home from work, I pass an off-road shop (Pungo Off-Road) in Virginia Beach. There's always 2 or 3 brand new trucks (still got the temporary tags and window sticker) out there getting jacked up. What do they do with the original tires and rims? I know they don't sell them. Ya can't find a set of barely used 17" tires around here. Do the dealers take them back?

 

I got a set of (4) 315/70/17s BFG A/T KOs with less than 200 miles on them from the local Hummer dealer. (Factory H2 tires.) $300 cash. Took them to discount and mounted them the same day. He said he'd sell the wheels and tires for $500.

Go to a dealer and make buddy buddy with the parts guy. They normally keep the takeoffs and don't have much to do with them. A lot of times it's a bonus for the parts guy.
