Need serious help with drivetrain prob...
Ok, i haven't offroaded in a while and thats why this is so freaky...my 97 F150 4x4 is driving sideways. The rear axle seems to be an inch or two farther to the right than my front suspension. The truck seems to veer to the left if the wheel is straight. I thought it might be just a simple steering wheel adjust, but no avail. It happened all in one day and i'm not sure how...a good tire, brakes, suspension shop in town said my rear may have gotten "tweaked"!? I made a little website thingy with pics to help explain...for those of you who know much about rear suspensions, or could give any advice, please go to:

Thanks guys, i really need help on this one...

You need to get your front end alignment checked. Thats why your truck looks like its driving side ways, to compensate for the front end being out of align. A good alignment shop should be able to help you with the other problems too.

My buddy had this happen to his shovie Z-71. As it turns out, his rear end had actually moved and was sitting a little sideways. Not enough to see, but only a little will make your steering wheel move almost a quarter turn just to hold the truck straight.

Well i took the truck in today to have it looked at. 5 mechanics told me the same thing..."the axle is sideways-"tweaked"." They showed me how the drivers side tire in the rear is actually sitting farther forward than the passenger side one. To fix the problem we will have to unweld and reweld the leaf spring brackets straight again. It is most likely a $500-800 fix. I will let you know if this fixes the problem...thanks again guys...
