Sorry i can't tell ya more, but you can't figure out the backspacing of a rim by its width or diameter. I have 16x10 wheels and they have a -23mm backspacing. But most 16x10 wheels are 0 and some are positive backspacing. If you give the brand and name of the wheel, someone might can help you out better...sorry

Cool

You can measure it yourself very simply. Lay the wheel down with the back side facing up. Now lay a straightedge across the center of the rim and measure the distance from the straightedge to the surface which mounts against your hub. That measurement is the backspace.

Easy, huh?

Do you have the tires mounted in the rim when taking the measures? If not, then, what JonC told is OK. But if the tires were mounted be sure that you read from the mounting pad to the outside edge of the rim. If not you will get the wrong number.

Be sure that we do not confuse the backspacing with the offset. Backspacing also called rear spacing is the distance from the extreme back edge of rim, not the bead seat, to the mounting pad. Offset is the distance from the wheels' centerline to the plane at which the wheel meets the hub. Positive offset is toward the outside of the rim, negative offset is toward the inside. Zero offset is in the center of the rim. Usually in mm.
