Best Way To Store For The Winter ??
I have a set of American Racing Hellix Wheels that I run on the truck during the summertime. I leave them at my Dad's place since I don't have the space here. The one shed that he has is brand new but no floor and can get quite damp inside and the other one has a few nail holes in the roof so the rain and snow can get into it. I have covered past wheels that I have left in there (old shed) with some plastic. In the new shed I would just put them up on something so they are off the ground. I would wash them really good, dry them off, polish and then sit out in the sun for about 15 - 30 minutes. Then a coating of wax before putting them to rest for the winter time.
Is there a better way to do this or not ??? I have heard of covering them with vaseline. The wheels themselves are steel with chrome covering.
