I had some tires and wheels stolen on Halloween and was able to find another set that was an option on the same year 2000 on the web for a really good price. Well they came today and I believe they have the wrong centers. These wheels are the step above the polished aluminum ones on the XLT package. They are cast and have a 5 spoke pattern to them. If anyone has these wheels could you give me the part # off the centers. The ones I received are just like the ones on my polished only a little smaller and they don`t fit. Ford listed 3 numbers but no pics. I looked at some in the local lot tonight and they have raised areas above each lug. I would have pulled one for a number but didn`t want to risk someone getting the wrong idea in my doing it. I can send a pic of the one I have but don`t have one of the one I need. Any help would be greatly appreciated so I can get the right ones from where I got the wheels from or buy them from Ford.

Looking for the numbers on 2000-2001 5 spoke cast wheels not the chrome.

2000, have you bought the wheels yet? If not I got the identical wheels in perfect condition from a guy who deals in new take offs.-- He is out of Sarasota Florida. I called him and he said he can sell cheaper if you call him direct -- Good person to deal with He also sells on Ebay. Mine came with the center capss -- I can get you the numbers when I get out later on this morn if you still need it. PS the guy I got my wheels lists them on ebay as "expedition wheels" If you want I may be able to find his direct phone # -- Let me know asap--

Appreciate the info. I picked up the wheels already from a guy in CA dealing with new take-offs also.The pic I posted is the exact style I bought just not the centers.I paid 205.00 + shipping for the wheels when I got them. It came with brand new centers also but they don`t seem to fit. I would appreciate the number off the centers if you can get it.I talked with another dealer and he said if mine are new and in EC he will exchange them for the right ones when I get the Part Number I need.

2000, when you say they don't fit -- how do you mean? -- My new center caps did not snap over the center , till I "reformed" -- bent - the inside snap rings-- then they fit perfectly -- and have been in place for 700 miles. I thought I could use my original ABS plastic centers -- but they definitly would not fit -- Are the ones you got metal or plastic? -- Like I said -- I will get the number for you when I go out for lunch--

Markmizzou, They are bigger diameter circles(centers) than I think were meant for these wheels. When you center them to push on the outer ring of the center prevents it from sitting low enough in the wheel to snap on. The inner snap rings are barely able to touch the lugs. The others I have from the other set of wheels in which 2 were stolen have even a bigger outside diameter on the center. They are made of plastic from what it looks like. I tried one off my neighbors Expedition and they are the same as the centers I have(part number). I`m wondering if there is a difference between the 12 and 14 mm lugs on these and I may have Expedition centers.

2000, I can agree with Mike150 -- that is the exact P/N of my center caps!! Also if it is any help my wheel P/N is Yl34-1007-AA. These two work on my truck -- which is a 99XLT 4X4 -- build date 7/7/99 (late 99 build). The only thing I could think of -- is the hub different on a 2000?

Thanks guys!! I just called the dealer and these centers are in stock so I will go try them. Seems the the following YL34.1A096.DA(off old wheels) and YL34.1A096.BB(came with new wheels) I have are styled for a different wheel. The (X)YL34-1A096.AA are smaller outside diameter on the center itself and should fit farther down towards the center of the hub and attach to the lugs. Thanks for taking the time to help me out!! Will let you know if they work as I believe they will. I have the same wheel number as the one you gave me Markmizzou.
